After a night in Longyearbyen, our energetic colleagues have
now got off to a good start with the expedition on Svalbard.

The first stage from Agardhbukta to Lundstrømdalen is already successfully  completed. It consisted of a relatively gentle climb over the glacier, but the danger of glacier cracks ensures that you must always be vigilant. The group is now well on its way through Reindalen and is heading towards Barentsburg, which is the destination of the trip. Before they get there, there are still four days left with a lot of effort during the day and a polar bear watch in the evening.

If you want to follow the trip, you can get a live update from Halvor’s GPS here: https://share.garmin.com/halvorbernaas

We are following with excitement and still wish good luck on the trip!
