The start of the world’s biggest ski competition. A remarkable silence spreads, broken only by the scraping of 15,000 pairs of skis filling the air. O.B.Wiik was selected as a partner to deliver tents to the oldest, longest and biggest cross country ski race in the world.
O.B.Wiik has become the exclusive supplier of tents and equipment for all activities that Vasaloppet arranges.
The first delivery from O.B.Wiik was to Vasaloppet 2011, to this event we rigged up an isolated event tent on 3600m2 in Mora.
The tent was supplied with glass facades, insulated wall panels and specially designed cassette floors.
Representatives from Vasaloppet was very pleased and said that this was a big step up in quality from previous years. O.B.Wiik's isolated event tent greatly reduced the energy consumption and the environmental impact. The tent was used for a restaurant, exhibition hall and store.
