Tarpaulins for hire
O.B.Wiik offers good-quality tarpaulins in a wide range of sizes for temporary covering of goods and equipment in such locations as construction sites.Normal wear and tear are included in the hire fee, but an extra charge will be made if tarpaulins are returned in a particularly dirty condition or with other damage which significantly reduces their value. Tarpaulins stolen or lost in other ways are the customer’s responsibility and must be replaced. They are insured against fire by the owner. An excess is charged in the event of fire (see the contract). Rent is charged until the tarpaulin has been returned.
These products are held in stock by various dealers nationwide to ensure quick delivery.

Payment
The initial fee must be paid in cash on delivery or when the first invoice is received. Rent will then be charged monthly in arrears. Payment terms are cash within 10 days (for private customers) or 15 days (for business customers) of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in advance with head office.

Service guarantee
The guarantee covers damage in excess of normal wear and tear, but does not apply for tarpaulins priced as scrap.
