O.B.Wiik was founded in Oslo in 1912, and works primarily on the development, production and sale of relocatable buildings, other temporary structures and tarpaulins. These products are used for such applications as food storage, workshops and classrooms.

 

Warehouse solutions and temporary structures have been delivered by O.B.Wiik for more than 20 years to various UN bodies and voluntary aid/relief organisations. The company has frame agreements, won through international tendering, with a number of UN agencies to deliver such relocatable buildings / temporary structures.

 

O.B.Wiik's relocatable buildings / temporary structures are installed today in more than 70 countries, and are used daily by relief organisations as warehouses for storing and distributing food, as workshops and as temporary classrooms.

 

Customers include the World Food Programme, the UNHCR, Unicef, the IOM, the UNOPS, World Vision, the ICRC, the IFRC and a number of national Red Cross societies.
